Carbon Copy-250.jpg

Carbon Copy

• Open Pollinated
• Black, cherry
• Early-Mid Season
• Indeterminate

Cherry-sized strain from the delicious, larger Carbon tomato. This strain was developed by Ron Rhyne in Muskogee, OK, who wanted a black cherry tomato that had all the sweet, wonderful flavor of its parent.

Noir de Crimee-250.jpg

Noir de Crimee (strain of Black Krim)

• Heirloom
• Black/Purple
• Medium, slicer
• Mid Season
• Indeterminate

A more productive and flavorful strain of the oh-so-popular Black Krim. Fruits are a bit smaller, which may account for its better production. Flavor is complex, sweet, and with a hint of smoky-salty.

JD's Special

• Open Pollinated
• Black/Purple
• Medium sized fruit
• Mid Season
• Indeterminate

Much loved amongst seed traders yet little known in the commercial trade, this is a very productive variety with good flavor and a long season. 12 oz fruits are meaty and a deep red/brown.

Carbon

• Heirloom
• Black/Purple
• Medium sized fruit
• Mid Season
• Indeterminate

The deepest color of any of the black tomatoes, with all the full, smokey flavors the type is known for. A winner of many taste tests in recent years.

Ananas Noir

• Open Pollinated
• Black-Bicolor
• Beefsteak
• Mid Season
• Indeterminate

Early for a beefsteak, beautiful and delicious. 4" fruits are juicy with tropical sweet flavors. Prolific production. One of our most popular varieties.

Bear Creek-250.jpg

Bear Creek

• Open Pollinated
• Black, beefsteak
• Med sized fruit
• Mid Season
• Indeterminate

One of the best I've grown, I LOVE this tomato. Purple-brown-red beefsteaks are meaty, sweet and full flavored. Resists cracking, and plants produce an abundance of fruit over a long season. A recent introduction by a highly regarded midwest grower/breeder.

Black from Tula

• Heirloom
• Black/Purple
• Large fruit
• Mid Season
• Indeterminate

Large, meaty purple-black fruit are sweet, salty and full flavored. A wonderful Russian heirloom.

CherokeePurpleHeart-250.jpg

Cherokee Purple Heart

• Open Pollinated
• Black, oxheart
• Late Season

Nearly identical in color and flavor to the standard Cherokee Purple, but this one is an oxheart with fewer seeds and gel. Unlike other oxheart plants that grow leggy and wispy, this variety is well-branched with good leaf coverage.
